Our story

Hi and welcome! Most of you know who we are, but with all of our new and recent customers, we thought we should introduce ourselves. We are Amy and Madeline Gibson, the mother and daughter duo behind Southern Sugar DEAUX. Our love for baking runs deep within the family. It is a passion we both share and have since we can remember. SSD was created a few years ago simply because we loved the idea of baking and creating delicious cookies for others, which in turn has allowed us to create even more meaningful memories together in our kitchen! It has been a blessing, and the Lord has been gracious enough to provide us with this wonderful opportunity. It is our hope that we have been a blessing to all of you who have been with us on this journey! We are excited to see what doors the Lord will continue to open for Southern Sugar DEAUX. We are thankful for our many faithful and repeat customers, and for those of you that are new, we are so glad you are here! We hope we get the chance to bake something SWEET for you soon!
